Summary: leverage IMAP folder capabilities when sending mail
There's a thread discussing this here: https://prerelease.adobe.com/project/forum/thread.html?cap=87529bda13744b3db718e841890b9240&forid={267A8BEA-8D25-435C-A533-6C830DD686CA}&topid={59F51CDD-329B-4F4D-A18E-A371D6871A02}
IMAP can work in conjunction with SMTP to not only send email, but also to place the sent item into the the "sent items" (or similar) mailbox.
This is quite handy for records keeping, and indeed will be a requirement in some organisations for the purposes of auditing email traffic.
My initial thought that this should be done via <cfimap>, but reading the follow-ups in the thread, I now think it should be an option on <cfmail> to (optionally) allow leverage of IMAPs capabilities in conjunction with sending the message.
