Status/Resolution/Reason: Closed/Withdrawn/

Reporter/Name(from Bugbase): David Belanger / David Belanger (David Belanger)

Created: 10/01/2014

Components: General - IDE

Versions: 3.0

Failure Type:

Found In Build/Fixed In Build: 3.0 Final /

Priority/Frequency: Major / All users will encounter

Locale/System: English / Windows 8.1/64bit

Vote Count: 0

Problem Description: For example, to insert a simple nbsp, you neet to press (CTRL+T, N). The (CTRL+T) works and brings up a popup window but pressing N does nothing except make the popup disappear. The same applies if I try to highlight a section of text and wrap it in a CF comment by pressing (CTRL+T), M

Steps to Reproduce:

Try insert any tag in the CFML Multi Page Editor. Example (CTRL+T, =) for CFSET or (CTRL+T, D) for cfdump
or wrap some text and try to comment it out with (CRTL+T, M)

Actual Result:
Popup disapears

Expected Result:
The popup should disapear and the tag should be inserted.

Any Workarounds:
When you hit CTRL+T, the popup window appears with all of your choice and you can double click on the one you want to apply (very awkward)

Comments:

It does work. However, the lag of looking at the list after Ctrl+T and then inserting D for ,cfdump> will not work. See the shortcut with Ctrl+T. Next time just do Ctrl+T, D for <cfdump>. Yes, with just the pause of that comma. (Comment added from ex-user id:dsarkar)
