Duplicate ID: 3713334 ColdFusion Builder
Problem Description:
Opening a file with a non standard extension disables the highlighting even when file associations are updated to enable the cf editor for those extensions. when the file is opened using the cf editor, no highlighting happens. This was working in version 2.0 and 2.1 of CFbuilder.
Steps to Reproduce:
Take a coldfusion file and rename it to .inc.
set the file association to the CFML Multi Page Editor - Window -> preferences -> General -> Editors -> File Associations
click the Add.. button at the top of the window to add a new file type.
Then select the new file type and click the add button at the bottom of the window and set the associated editor to the CFML Multi Page Editor.
Click ok, then launch the .inc file that was created from the cfml file.
Actual Result:
file opens in the default editor with no syntax highlighting. File looks like a text file.
Expected Result:
File should open with the CFML Multi page editor and show syntax highlighting as it does with cfm or cfc files.
Any Workarounds:
None
