Problem Description:
Trying to use PreUpdate() and it's inserting two records on save.

Steps to Reproduce:
Use preUpdate to attempt to insert a new record on entity update.

Actual Result:
Two identical records are inserted for every update.

Expected Result:
Only one record inserted on update.

Any Workarounds:
None.

There were numerous bugs and posts about this way back in v9 !!!!!!!
Note: I'm using multiple datasources with ORM - I found a bug that had been fixed for v9 but only applied to single datasource.

Has no-one fixed this for multiple datasources in the last 10 years??????????????????????

See CF-3041854 which was withdrawn and CF-3041853 which was a duplicate but no longer exists? Who deletes bugs from a bug tracker?

Hi Jim, I have made this bug -CF-3041853- public. It should be accessible now. It is working fine with a single data source. I am also unable to repro it with multiple data source. Can you give us a repro case with multiple data source to investigate it further? -Nimit
