Problem: ColdFusion 2018 schedule task stops automatically and to start task again, we need to restart the entire instance.

Method: Users have 10-15 task in ColdFusion 2018 server and after running it for a while, scheduler stops and does not trigger the jobs. 

To start the jobs again, entire CF needs to be restarted.

Result: Quartz scheduler stops without any exception and 

Expected: It should work without an issue or at least throw an exception.

Workaround: Restart the instance.

I'm seeing the same behavior on two of our servers that were recently patched with CF2018 Updates 4 and 5. All the server's scheduled tasks run successfully for a period of time following service startup, then suddenly halt. Snippets from the relevant log files attached.

can you try using -Dcoldfusion.http.usepooling=false in jvm.config
