CFHTMLTOPDF currently lacks the ability to manage page breaks in dynamically generated PDF documents when run as a service. Specifically, support for "page-break-inside: avoid" placed on a block level element to prevent being split from one page to another. Generating PDF documents with large amounts of data becomes problematic without being able to control page breaks. CFDOCUMENT provides the ability to manage page breaks with CSS, but lacks support for many CSS design elements that are supported in CFHTMLTOPDF.

Any news on if this request being considered? This functionality would greatly improve the usability and scope of CFHTMLTOPDF.

Adobe, can we get some traction on this? A response maybe? This bug has been around for a long time now and because of it, I've had to completely drop using any of your PDF functionality in an app feature because the HTML to PDF tag is lacking and, to be honest, useless without support like this when working on large dynamic documents. Third party libraries like WKHTMLTOPDF and OpenHTMLToPDF handle these kinds of CSS properties flawlessly on their own.
