Problem Description:When I send an email using Coldfusion CFMAIL tag, the body of the message doesn’t show on iPad or similar browsers. I am able to see the body of the same message online (Yahoo online mail) or when I download it to my desktop PC’s Outlook inbox.
Steps to Reproduce:
Create an email using <cfmail> and <cfmailpart> and view the email in iPad or iPhone email client. The email arrives, subject displays, but there is no body text of the message. Viewing online in Yahoo email web client and Outlook desktop client renders the whole email correctly.
Actual Result:Body of email doesn't display on some email clients, such as iPad and iPhone
Expected Result:Expect to see body of email in all email clients
Any Workarounds:I have not found any, other than to use AWS-SES to send, instead of CFMAIL. I reported this to CF team back in March and am now migrating to a new server and still able to reproduce this issue, so logging it as a bug now.
