A simple checkbox in the CF administrator which enables ehCache's automatic cache sharing across multiple CF instances would allow easy access to and enabling of this very powerful and woefully underused feature. Currently, you have to edit /lib/ehcache.xml and most people don't like touching those files or are unable to do so because of operations policies.
