Problem:
If a system has multiple CF versions (CF9 , CF10 , CF11 ) , the CF2016 installer dumps the settings from the latest CF inside cfusion/lib/cfXXsettings . The migration wizard should specify the CFversion from which the settings are picked for migration . Currently it only says : Migrating from previous version .

The fix for this bug is available as part of the early-access build for ColdFusion 2016 Update 2.

Hi Adobe, I've verified this is NOT fixed in CF2016 Update 2 (build 2016.0.02.299200). Steps to reproduce: 1) Ensure C:\ColdFusion2016\cfusion\lib\cf11settings exists w/ the neo-*.xml and seed.properties files. 2) Change adminconfig.xml to: ----------- <?xml version="1.0" encoding="UTF-8"?> <setupconfig> <runsetupwizard>true</runsetupwizard> <runmigrationwizard>true</runmigrationwizard> <runmxmigrationwizard>false</runmxmigrationwizard> <runsecureprofile>false</runsecureprofile> <migratecf11>true</migratecf11> <migratecf10>true</migratecf10> <migratecf9>true</migratecf9> <setupoptions> <sampleapps>false</sampleapps> <odbc>false</odbc> <enablerds>true</enablerds> </setupoptions> </setupconfig> 3) Restart CF2016 (build 2016.0.02.299200 or later) 4) See the Migration Wizard UI still says "Migrating from previous version" (bad) instead of "Migrating from ColdFusion {VersionNumber}" (good). ----------- Note: In my specific scenario, "previous version" and "ColdFusion 11" are synonymous. However, if this ticket was fixed, the Migration Wizard should display "ColdFusion 11" instead of "previous version". The issue really arises when user has already installed multiple older versions (i.e. CF10 and CF11) and is running CF2016's Migration Wizard. The wording "previous version" is then unclear as to which version is being referring to. Can this please be re-opened/fixed? Or the status should be changed to "Won't Fix" (or similar) and also this ticket should be removed from CF2016 Update 2's list of bugs fixed. Thanks!, -Aaron
