CFS files are CFScript-only script files.

Files with a .cfs extension would contain only CFScript, and would not require the <cfscript> tags. Tags do not belong in CLI-based scripting. They make no sense.

TBH, it should just be possible to detect whether a file is script or not when it's parsed. So how about we change the intent of this ticket to simply allow CFM files to be entirely script.

+1 for .cfs or auto-detect. Preference: auto-detect.

Auto-detection of a script only cfm without requiring cfscript tag would be the ideal solution.

Hi Adam, Yeah, it'd be nice to have a "Targeted For Build" between "Found In Build" and "Fixed In Build" at the right. And, of course, it would need to be populated =) And.. w/ a reasonable value. Not just "CF3000". Thanks!, -Aaron

Auto-detect would be very nice (since that's how CFC files are processed).

Echoing Adam and Aaron: can we get some idea of when this will be available?

Files with a .cfs extension not require the <cfscript> tags . It will applicable for both CLI as well as REPL mode.
