I had a problem with adminapi, I couldn't add any datasources, every time I tried to run setMSSQL command an error happened with no description but the end of the stacktrace was coldfusion.security.SecurityManager$UnauthenticatedCredentialsException (full stacktrace as an attachment). I couldn't find why because it has worked with the exact same code before. Finally I did find out, it was because I changed the administrator password to something with a "!" in it.
I suppose it's a bug since it's not mentioned anywhere that the password shouldn't contain any "!" (maybe there are other characters that are not allowed for any adminapi connection to work but I didn't try)
P.S : I tried with our enterprise edition and the bug didn't seem to appear, so it may be located to developer edition
