Problem Description:

The problem is in OS X 10.10 Yosemite.

I recently install Yosemite to my Mac and install ColdFusion 10, but didn't work, is shown me "503 service unavailable" when trying to start it in browser. After several attempts I apply the hotfix_014.jar, and udgrade all connectors, and then ran.

The problem now is when I restart or shutdown the computer, ColdFusion is damage again with the same problem, and presenting the same error (see the picture attached), I have to uninstall it and do all the steps again and restart apache.

PD: MySQL doesn't start automatically when restarting the Mac.

Can anybody help me??

Comments:

We tested this on a fresh Yosemite install (had only ColdFusion 11 installed). Here is what we did: 1) Installed Java 1.6.0_65 required for CF10 installation. 2) Installed ColdFusion 10 (on port 8500). 3) Configured connector with Apache (Default Apache on Yosemite is 2.4.9). Admin page does not come up (which is expected since 2.4.9 support is added in Update 14). 4) Applied Mandatary update, followed by Update 14. 5) Got "Forbidden Error" when using the upgrade option. 6) Removed and added the connector, worked fine. 7) Restarted Mac box. Started ColdFusion10. Else we would get "503 service unavailable" error. 8) Admin page comes up fine after now Can you confirm ColdFusion 10 was up and running when you restarted the Mac? You might also want to remove and add back the connector (without upgrade option). Let us know if there was anything different in your workflow? (Comment added from ex-user id:prk)
