Problem Description: 

IsValid('email','johnny.doe@jd.com,,') - returns TRUE. Notice the two commas at the end of the email string?  Any other characters(? / | . etc) returns FALSE. 

Prior to CF11, the same test returns FALSE.

The fix for this bug is available in the pre-release build of ColdFusion 11 Update 5
