Problem Description:When trying to start the coldfusion server from the command line, the command line session gets locked to the coldfusion application and does not release control. Then if the command line window is closed it kills coldfusion. So once I start the service from the command line I can't log off of the server.
Steps to Reproduce:On windows server (with coldfusion 10 installed), open a command prompt and change directory to %cfroot%\%instancename%\bin. Check the status of the instance with "coldfusion status". If coldfusion is running, stop it using "coldfusion stop". Now start it with "coldfusion start". After coldfusion has started and reports the Server startup time, the command prompt session never gets control back and is unusable. Closing the command prompt stops coldfuision. I also noticed that the coldfusion service does not show stopped if the service is stopped from the command line and also that if the Windows service is stopped and coldfusioon is started from the command line - the windows service does not show as running.
Actual Result: Starting coldfusion from the command line is not clean.
Expected Result: Starting coldfusion from the command line should release the command prompt and should update the windows service status.
Any Workarounds: Don't use the command line to start coldfusion.
