Problem Description: CF 10 cannot instantiate a com object that is a key aspect of our website

Steps to Reproduce: Install CF10 on new computer, install and register our COM object, login to website. I can provide the installation package for our COM object

Actual Result: Error: cannot instantiate common object

Expected Result: Com object provides JPG image to the web-browser

Any Workarounds: Downgrade to ColdFusion 9 - COM object works

I have tested 32 Bit CF10 on 32 Bit Windows 2003 server, and COM object starts fine. I have also tested 32 bit CF9 on the actual production server and COM object starts fine. Problem only exists on test configuration above.

" cannot instantiate common object" above should say: " cannot instantiate com object"

This is EXTREMELY IMPORTANT for my application as well. It's bad enough that Adobe put out a version that offers NO WORKAROUNDS for 64 bit platform, but to not make the 32 bit version work for CF10 is unfathomable. FYI, I've spent hours upon hours just trying to get CF10 x32 to install on my Win2K8 x64 (Standard, IIS 7) and have yet to get it to work.

The fix address only one issue " jintegra path was missing in jvm.config" , This issue is resolved now . But still to make COM work for 32-bit CF on 64-bit OS we need to register TypeViewer.dll . So passing the bug back . (Comment added from ex-user id:yrr)
