Problem:

'mappedby' attribute must be case-sensitively equal to 'fkcolumn' in a one-to-one relationship, otherwise an error msg is thrown. Either change to case insensitive, or add warnings to the CF9 documentation.
Method:

<cfcomponent persistent="true"> <cfproperty name="EmployeeID" fieldtype="id" generator="native"> <cfproperty name="firstname"> <cfproperty name="lastname"> <cfproperty name="officecubicle" fieldtype="one-to-one" cfc="officecubicle" mappedby="employee"> </cfcomponent><cfcomponent persistent="true"> <cfproperty name="id" fieldtype="id" generator="native"> <cfproperty name="Employee" fieldtype="one-to-one" cfc="Employee" fkcolumn="EmployeeID"> <cfproperty name="Location"> <cfproperty name="Size"></cfcomponent>
Result:

property-ref [employee] not found on entity [OFFICECUBICLE] org.hibernate.MappingException: property-ref [employee] not found on entity [OFFICECUBICLE]at org.hibernate.mapping.PersistentClass.getReferencedProperty(PersistentClass.java:362)at org.hibernate.cfg.Configuration.secondPassCompile(Configuration.java:1190)at org.hibernate.cfg.Configuration.generateDropSchemaScript(Configuration.java:789)at org.hibernate.tool.hbm2ddl.SchemaExport.<init>(SchemaExport.java:128)at org.hibernate.tool.hbm2ddl.SchemaExport.<init>(SchemaExport.java:91)at coldfusion.orm.hibernate.HibernateConfiguration.exportSchema(HibernateConfiguration.java:360)at coldfusion.orm.hibernate.HibernateConfiguration.initHibernateConfiguration(HibernateConfiguration.java:221)at coldfusion.orm.hibernate.HibernateConfiguration.<init>(HibernateConfiguration.java:141)at coldfusion.orm.hibernate.ConfigurationManager.initConfiguration(ConfigurationManager.java:69)at coldfusion.orm.hibernate.HibernateProvider.InitializeORMForApplication(HibernateProvider.java:182)at coldfusion.orm.hibernate.HibernateProvider._reloadORMForApp(HibernateProvider.java:223)at coldfusion.orm.hibernate.HibernateProvider.reloadORMForApplication(HibernateProvider.java:203)at coldfusion.orm.ORMUtils.reloadORM(ORMUtils.java:312)at coldfusion.runtime.CFPage.ORMReload(CFPage.java:7763)at cfreload2ecfm810328532.runPage(D:\Project\billing\com\reload.cfm:1)at coldfusion.runtime.CfJspPage.invoke(CfJspPage.java:231)at coldfusion.tagext.lang.IncludeTag.doStartTag(IncludeTag.java:416)at coldfusion.filter.CfincludeFilter.invoke(CfincludeFilter.java:65)at coldfusion.filter.ApplicationFilter.invoke(ApplicationFilter.java:342)at coldfusion.filter.RequestMonitorFilter.invoke(RequestMonitorFilter.java:48)at coldfusion.filter.MonitoringFilter.invoke(MonitoringFilter.java:40)at coldfusion.filter.PathFilter.invoke(PathFilter.java:87)at coldfusion.filter.LicenseFilter.invoke(LicenseFilter.java:27)at coldfusion.filter.ExceptionFilter.invoke(ExceptionFilter.java:70)at coldfusion.filter.ClientScopePersistenceFilter.invoke(ClientScopePersistenceFilter.java:28)at coldfusion.filter.BrowserFilter.invoke(BrowserFilter.java:38)at coldfusion.filter.NoCacheFilter.invoke(NoCacheFilter.java:46)at coldfusion.filter.GlobalsFilter.invoke(GlobalsFilter.java:38)at coldfusion.filter.DatasourceFilter.invoke(DatasourceFilter.java:22)at coldfusion.filter.CachingFilter.invoke(CachingFilter.java:53)at coldfusion.CfmServlet.service(CfmServlet.java:200)at coldfusion.bootstrap.BootstrapServlet.service(BootstrapServlet.java:89)at jrun.servlet.FilterChain.doFilter(FilterChain.java:86)at coldfusion.monitor.event.MonitoringServletFilter.doFilter(MonitoringServletFilter.java:42)at coldfusion.bootstrap.BootstrapFilter.doFilter(BootstrapFilter.java:46)at jrun.servlet.FilterChain.doFilter(FilterChain.java:94)at jrun.servlet.FilterChain.service(FilterChain.java:101)at jrun.servlet.ServletInvoker.invoke(ServletInvoker.java:106)at jrun.servlet.JRunInvokerChain.invokeNext(JRunInvokerChain.java:42)at jrun.servlet.JRunRequestDispatcher.invoke(JRunRequestDispatcher.java:286)at jrun.servlet.ServletEngineService.dispatch(ServletEngineService.java:543)at jrun.servlet.jrpp.JRunProxyService.invokeRunnable(JRunProxyService.java:203)at jrunx.scheduler.ThreadPool$ThreadThrottle.invokeRunnable(ThreadPool.java:428)at jrunx.scheduler.WorkerThread.run(WorkerThread.java:66)Caused by: org.hibernate.MappingException: property [employee] not found on entity [OFFICECUBICLE]at org.hibernate.mapping.PersistentClass.getRecursiveProperty(PersistentClass.java:419)at org.hibernate.mapping.PersistentClass.getReferencedProperty(PersistentClass.java:359)... 43 more

Hi Adobe, I've verified this is fixed. The description of the "mappedby" attribute includes "Note that the value of this property is case-sensitive." at https://helpx.adobe.com/coldfusion/developing-applications/coldfusion-orm/define-orm-mapping/define-relationships.html. Thanks!, -Aaron
