Problem:
The default date/time notation in log files is displayed as
"04/07/08","10:13:56". This is ambiguous and we need extra steps to
process the logs in other applications and scripts, first to
disambiguate the dates and second to convert them to something that
works in our locale.
I would like to see the format changed to the format defined in ISO 8601
%d{"yyyy-MM-dd HH:mm:ss"}. Or if a change in the number of columns in
logfiles creates a backwards compatibility concern, at least change it
to %d{"yyyy-MM-dd","HH:mm:ss"}.
The same goes for the JRun logs.
