This causes quite a bit of re-work for script only functions. This should be done.

Every tag, should have a cfscript counterpart. Definitely need this for declaring the content type at times.

Railo supports this and when you need it, it's very nice not to have to drop out of cfscript to use it.

This would really enhance my cfscript-only CFCs' ability to return a large block of formatted string data - It's a pain to have to break out of cfscript to do just one thing.

This would be great new feature for CF11!

This functionality would be useful within a component without having to utilize a UDF

I hate when I have to switch between cfscript and tag based because one tag doesn't have script equivalent. Please fix it and any other missing tag equivalents

I've had to go other routes (UDF etc.) in the past to use with cfscript. Would be nice to not have to. Let's face it, aside from obvious tags, if there isn't a cfscript version of tag abc - there should be.

There should be a script equivalent for everything. I wanted "content" right now, but it didn't exist.

Hit google looking for cfcontent in cfscript today and ended up here. I agree that all tag functionality should be reproducible in script for it to be a truly robust and reliable option.

Shouldn't this be closed as "fixed", given CF11 has effected all previously tag-only constructs in CFScript now? -- Adam
