<p>Even though Adobe just added support for Java 12 to CF2018 and CF2016, I will propose you should not use that, but instead should use the latest version of Java 11. Read on for more.</p>

Thanks, so much, Paolo. I had missed the news of that (Oct 15, during the CF Summit week), though I did mention 11.0.5. I have corrected the 221 reference. Again, thanks.

Yes. 1.8.0_231. I upgradeed my web development server (CF2016 64-bit / Windows Server 2012) and ColdFusion Studio 3.x to this version last week. No problems so far.
