Problem:
ColdFusion administrator does not load images due to a conflict in web.config at the below line,
<mimeMap fileExtension=".air" mimeType="application/vnd.adobe.air-application-installer-package zip" />
The below error is mentioned in the IIS Exception,
Cannot add duplicate collection entry of type 'mimeMap' with unique key attribute 'fileExtension' set to '.air'
The issue occurs only if the mimeType for .air is already added.
Method:
Install CF on a machine with IIS that already has the AIR MIMETYPE added.
Configure connector with IIS
Result:
The above exception is thrown.
