Problem:Disabling "enable session variables" and checking updates page will show exception on updates page
Method:
1)Goto Server Settings > Memory Variables
2)Disable "Enable Session Variables (when unchecked, CSRF protection is disabled) "
3)Goto Server Update > Updates
4)Observe exception with stacktrace
Result:
Exception "Error Occurred While Processing RequestThe requested scope session has not been enabled. Before session variables can be used, the session state management system must be enabled using the cfapplication tag.The error occurred in index.cfm: line 84Called from index.cfm: line 37Called from index.cfm: line 1"
Expected:
Should'nt be any dependency between session variables and a specific admin page so no error should be there
If for a specific reason dependency has been intentionally put in,then the exception should be handled cleanly
