Problem:
When remotely accessing our Windows server that houses our CF 9 installation, I am greeted by a window containing an error message that reads "JRun JAR Launcher has stopped working." Since I do not check the console on a daily basis, I do not know how long the message was up. I also do not know what causes the message to arise. I can locate nothing in the CF server or Windows Event logs to provide me a clue. Whatever the cause of the error, we have not been able--so far--to notice any negative impact on our CF server or its functioning. Nevertheless, the message clearly indicates a problem of some sort that should be rectiifed. I have noted this message about half a dozen times since installing CF 9 in June 2010.
Method:
I do not have any idea how to reproduce the problem or the steps leading to the error message.
Result:
JRun JAR Launcher has stopped working
