Problem:
I just updated to 9.0.1. Now the ORM EventHandler is not firing. The error message that I am seeing is happening because the property is not being setting in the PreInsert event during the ORM Transaction. This was working as is before I updated the Coldfusion server.
Method:
Configure ORM with a global event handlerSetup a property to be set during PreInsertCreate a test page that populates an entity and then saves it expecting the above column to be updated during the insert.
Result:
not-null property references a null or transient value: contacts.orgID
