Problem:
When deugging is turned on in the administrator for the local IP address, running a stand alone server on a local Mac OS X development environment, debug can only be viewed on the rendered templates if you browse to 127.0.0.1 not localhost.http://127.0.0.1:8500/index.cfm (Shows Debug Output)http://localhost:8500/index.cfm (Does Not Show Debug)
Method:
Login to admin after fresh install of ColdFusion in stand alone server configuration. Enable debugging in the debugging output settings.Confirm that 127.0.0.1 is in list of debug IP Addresses.Browse to http://127.0.0.1:8500/index.cfm or any local cf template. You should see debug outputNow browse to http://localhost:8500/index.cfm you do not see debug output.
Result:
Debug output does not apperar when localhost is used in URL instead of 127.0.0.1
