Problem:

Integration with OpenOffice documentation needs clarificationThe collective documentation on OpenOffice integration does not give a consistently clear picture of which versions of MS Office are supported and the capabilities of each tag. Integrating Office applications with ColdFusionhttp://help.adobe.com/en_US/ColdFusion/9.0/Developing/WS56EA2935-FBD2-4089-8402-FDDA2BAF55FB.html================================================Does not mention which versions of MS Office are supported. It is assumed to be Office 97-2007, but it should be stated explicitly. Using CFDocumenthttp://help.adobe.com/en_US/ColdFusion/9.0/Developing/WS692D73AF-6338-495d-9E47-C2ECD8BF9307.html================================================This section states "In addition to the existing functionality, the cfdocumenttag lets you read, write, and process Word documents and PowerPoint presentations. All versions of Microsoft office applications from 97 to 2003 are supported."1. The first part is confusing because it suggests you can generate Word and PowerPoint files with CFDocument, which you cannot2. The second part implies that 2007 files are not supported. But at the same time suggesting that OpenOffice can convert more than just Word and PowerPoint files to pdf (such as visio, excel, rtf, ecetera) . That seems to be true based on my limited testing. The documentation should state explicitly a) which versions of Office AND b) which file formats can be converted to pdfCFDocumenthttp://127.0.0.1:8502/CFDOCS/htmldocs/WSc3ff6d0ea77859461172e0811cbec22c24-7c21.html================================================The main page for CFDocument does not seem to mention the OpenOffice integration at all. There are examples or a link to the "Using CFDocument" section.Supported Office conversion formats http://help.adobe.com/en_US/ColdFusion/9.0/Developing/WS9D9ADC95-B37C-4aae-B5D1-84D72FF83BEB.html=========================This section does not mention MS Office versions or other formats that can be converted to pdf using OpenOffice (like rtf, vsd, xlsx, ...) If these are supported, they should be mentioned.
