Problem:
Linux CF9 uninstall script deleted everything in /bin and possibly /etc.
Using Slackware 12.2
Method:
Install froze at about 99%(bar was almost all the way across). I ran the CF 9 uninstall script on the unfinished installation to clear out the files before trying the installation again. After the uninstall finished, the /bin folder was completely empty and I suspect /etc.
Not sure why the CF9 install was hanging when almost complete. Let it sit for over 2 hours with no progress.
