Problem:
On OSX, I uninstalled CF8 using the uninstaller application. Then I reinstalled CF9 Beta 1 using the webserver connection tool to configure the Apache+Jrun connection. I then started ColdFusion.
When accessing ColdFusion for the first time, I got a 500 Null server error. No information was in the out stream on the server.
I traced the problem to a missing jrunserver.store file. So I created a file named jrunserver.store in the /Applications/JRun/lib/wsconfig/1/ directory and the problem was resolved.
When I refreshed the page, the CFAdministrator loaded and went through the configuration routine and started successfully.
Method:
Install the product.
Access via browser.
Note 500 Null error.
create blank jrunserver.store file in the appropriate directory in ./lib/wsconfig and refresh.
The administrator loads successfully.
Result:
500 Null
