Problem:
When a CAR is created, there is no way to include the definition of the CAR itself in the archive. This means it is impossible to use CAR as a way to collaborate between multiple developers.
Desired scenario:
Create CAR and include the CAR definition. Store CAR under SVN. Developer B deploys CAR, makes changes and recreates the updated CAR and commits it back to SVN. Developer A is able to deploy those changes.
Since the CAR definition isn't part of the archive, developer B cannot (today) figure out how to recreate it after deployment.
At a minimum deploying a CAR should add its definition to the list of CARs in the admin. That would allow other developers to modify the definition and create an updated version for sharing.
