I have both CF11 Express and full installed on the same (dev) machine. In different directories. They use the same HTTP port though, although this should not be relevant.
When I got to remove an update from the EXPRESS install, it attempts to restart the FULL install as part of the restart process.
CF should be on-to-it enough to know which install of itself I'm actually working on. I dunno how the express install might even be *trying* to mess around with Windows services for a completely separate install!
