This issue has been raised before, but I cannae find it.

Whenever one changes a REST CFC, one needs to restInitApplication() before the file will recompile. Otherwise one gets this error:

500 The CFC [filename] is modified and the application is not refreshed.

Come on, Adobe. That's pathetic. You know the file needs recompiling, so just *recompile it*. You know... exactly how the rest of the language has worked for over a decade.

Hmmm. Saw that, but didn't sound the same. As long as it solves the symptom here, that's fine.
