Again, SSIA really: Admin API needs to cover *all* Admin UI functionality

CFAdmin API doesn't have ability to maintain CAR files.

Indeed the admin should be *written* using the API only for its underlying functionality.

That the admin is not written using the API that is supposed to provide its functionality is, itself, a bug in my view (a design bug and an implementation bug).

+1 for sure! Then maybe that'd fix the issue where tasks w/ handlers can only be edited via CF Admin, if CF Admin was accessed via the same domain that the handler CFC resides in (meaning, /CFIDE needed to be exposed too). I never filed a ticket for that b/c apparently that was "expected behavior".

NOTE from Bug #CF-3923052: SSIA, really: CFAdmin API doesn't have ability to maintain CAR files. And it needs to. The API should cover everything the UI does.

Can you please confirm in what version of ColdFusion this is going to be implemented in. It says "to fix" but does not say which version.
