legal guideline says it should be the date of publication or release and not dynamic. So nothing much we can do on that.

I await with bated breath to check whether you remember to manually update this the first time you publish an update to CFAdmin this year. Everyone *else* on the planet automates this. (that said, copyright notices are pretty meaningless anyway these days... but one would hate to specifically *exclude* work from copyright which one might risk doing if one *doesn't* update the final year in a range to include the latest update). That said... I can't see anyone wanting to pinch your work anyhow, so I guess the whole thing is pretty moot.
