Problem Description:
I've installed 6 servers clean now with Windows Server 2012 and IIS 8.5 with ColdFusion 11. In IP only mode, everything works fine. The mappings for any coldfusion .cfm files, however, when the file name is referenced specifically, gives a 404 error.

Steps to Reproduce:
Install Server 2012 and ColdFusion 11. Attach a binding to a site as an actual domain. Hit that domain. Everything works. Hit the index.cfm file by name. It fails, 404 error.

Actual Result:
404 error.

Expected Result:
Page load.

Comments:

Sorry, this is the fix, by the way: http://stackoverflow.com/questions/13993010/coldfusion-10-iis-7-5-getting-a-404-even-though-file-exists That said, this is a folder above the root. The old CFIDE configurations did not do this. This is a design flaw and should be fixed.

John, Just to understand this correctly, are you using the Web Server Configuration Tool to configure CF with IIS? If you are, you shouldn't be seeing issues with the missing Jakarta mapping at all.
