Comments:

*Filename was originally jazz.vcf - However, I have so far narrowed it down to the letter z being the issue. It works fine if z is changed to the letter a. Occurs using CF10 on another PC too.

Verified this on ColdFusion 11 it works. What is the exchange server that you are using in this scenario?

I have tried sending mail using cfmail with z.vcf as the attachment and retrived it using cfpop. I could see that the attachment is being downloaded properly. Can you please check/provide the raw data of the mail sent at the server side with this attachment?

Hi Adobe, I've verified this is fixed in CF2016 Update 1 (build 2016.0.01.298513), cfmailparam no longer converts z.vcf to an extensionless attachment. Thanks!, -Aaron
