This is to continue CF-4196837 which has been withdrawn...

Hi Charlie,

I got some time to continue the process of testing CF11 updates…

I have installed from scratch CF11 on a new server Windows 2008 R2 64 bits. Installation program provided by cfinstall team.

After this installation I have a cf11 enterprise installation at level update 3.

After creating a new datasource with oracle driver, it works perfectly.

So I have started the process to install all updates from update 4 and so on just using cf admin « server update » page.

And below is the result :
•	After installing update 4 : oracle driver OK
•	After installing update 5 : oracle driver OK
•	After installing update 6 : oracle driver OK
•	After installing update 7 : oracle driver OK
•	After installing update 8 : oracle driver FAILED !!!
•	After installing update 12 : oracle driver FAILED !!!

So despite using clean install and only standard updates conclusion is still the same : macromedia drivers for oracle doesn’t work with CF11 starting from update 8 !

My only choice is to stay with CF11 update 7 which is rather old version…

Hi Nimit Sharma This is not duplicate of bug #CF-4165262 Here the driver doesn't work at all ! The way to reproduce is just to use the coldfusion administration interface and verify connection : the error will appear immediatly Pierre
