Aaron, Can you share the address of the portal from where you are trying to download the trial. I just tried http://www.adobe.com/products/coldfusion-family.html, and I can download the windows 64-bit installer without any issues. BTW the download redirects to: http://www.adobe.com/products/download-trial/dlm.html?product=coldfusion&version=version-2016-release&sku ... Can you try again.

Hi Piyush, I see Adobe has fixed this issue. Earlier (before creating this ticket) I'd went to www.coldfusion.com, then clicked "Free Trial" (at top-right), then signed-in, then completed that survey form wherein I selected the version I wished to download (Windows 64-bit), then clicked the Download button. And then Akamai was used to handle the download. And Akamai's direct-download link didn't work. I just now did the same steps and Akamai is not used anymore. It automatically does a direct-download. Sweet! So this issue is fixed b/c Adobe is no longer using Akamai for the ColdFusion downloads. Thanks!, -Aaron

Adobe, This ticket is marked Closed/Withdrawn/CannotReproduce but should be Closed/Fixed b/c Adobe fixed the issue by removing Akamai. Akamai was the issue. Thus, Adobe fixed the issue by removing Akamai. Just ask Anit. He can confirm. Again, this should be Closed/Fixed. Thanks!, -Aaron

Aaron, I am not sure what the issue was, or what went into fixing the issue if there was one, I am sure it had nothing to do with the ColdFusion server code base. Hence the issue would not qualify as a ColdFusion server bug. Thanks for raising this though. Your diligence in reporting issues is always appreciated. BTW, I cannot say for sure if Akamai Download Manager is being used when one clicks on the trial download, but the content seems to be coming from an Akamai server.

Hi Piyush, Yes, you are right. The issue had nothing to do w/ server base code. The Akamai Download Manager itself had a bug: its direct download link did nothing when clicked. Anit checked into the issue. Then, on Slack, he replied that the Akamai Download Manager is now no longer used for the CF installers. And I confirmed the same. So the removal of Akamai resolved the issue. So yes, I agree, this isn't a "CF bug". And you're very welcome - always glad to help :) Thanks for the follow-up!, -Aaron
