After installing CF on OS X 10.11.2 and choosing to upgrade from ColdFusion 11 I get the following error message after starting CF from the command line:

There was an error while running the connector wizard
Connector installation was not successful
If the connector has already been configured, rename the script cfusion/bin/cf-connectors.sh to prevent the connector from configuring again.

first off: I don't think that having to rename a script to prevent it from running again is something that the user should do. This should definitely be handled by script logic.

full installation message:

Configuring the web server connector (Launched on the first run of the ColdFusion server start script)
Running /private/etc/apache2 connector wizard...

------------------------

it turns out that the connector wizard did not change anything in /private/etc/apache2/mod_jk.conf

I then removed the connection to CF 11 via the remove_all_connectors.sh script from CF 11 and installed the connector via apache_connector_macosx.sh from ColdFusion 2016. Only to be greeted by CF 2016 staring up with the message:

You must be the root user to configure the ColdFusion connector. Start ColdFusion as "sudo ./coldfusion start" to configure connector.
Once connector has been configured, start ColdFusion as "./coldfusion start" to run ColdFusion as non-root user.

After renaming the script CF started up fine and I was able to run the CF Administrator.

Added By:mukumar Note Added: Cielen , I am closing this bug as not a Bug . Connector configuration need to be done manually . Unconfigure the local Apache server from CF11 and configure with CF2016 . Thanks, Mukesh Date Added :2016-02-02 08:47:20.0 Added By:mukumar Note Added: Hi Cielen, You are refering "upgrade" here as migration .(please correct if I am wrong ). Connector configuration need to be done manually . Unconfigure the local Apache server from CF11 and configure with CF2016 . Thanks, Mukesh Date Added :2016-01-28 09:41:41.0 Added By: PreRelease User User Name:Philipp Cielen Note Added: I guess the problem is that I have not uninstalled CF 11 from the local Apache server before installing CF 2016. However, if I do an "upgrade" install from CF 11 (i.e. the installer asks me if I want to transfer settings from a previous installation) it could at that point run the uninstall script for that CF version (remove_all_connectors.sh) automatically.
