In the CF installer, on the "select coldfusion server profile" page, if one picks "Development" or "Production" profile, the installer removes the option to specify an "allowed ip address" for access to the Admin.
There's no reason that option should ONLY be selectable for the "Secure" profile. Anyone might want to take it.
And really, this isn't a new issue with Raijin. It's been an issue since CF10.
Indeed, if there may ever be work done on the CF11 installer, it would be great if this was fixed there, but I Realize there may never be another CF11 installer, let alone an update to it. :-)
Also, while the new Raijin behavior to lock the Admin down to 8500 might seem to negate the importance of this issue, but it does not. For one thing, one may STILL want to limit the IPs that could access the Admin, even within a firewall where 8500 was accessible.
