Now... I think you didn't actually mean to say "queries" there? Because queries have never worked with "index" or "item" in the first place. However there's no reason that they shouldn't, for the sake of internal consistency:
* index only - the query row (this is the wrong usage of the term "index", but it's uniformly wrong with all the other places you use this term wrong in this context)
* item only - the query row
* index and item: index=currentRow, item=row
