Problem Description: After installing update 11 to three different servers, the ColdFusion 2016 Add-on Services fails to start on each of the servers.

Steps to Reproduce: Download the update 11 patch in the CFAdmin interface.  Stop all the services, manually apply the patch via the following command:

E:\Java\jdk1.8.0_212\jre\bin\java.exe -jar E:\ColdFusion2016\cfusion\hf-updates\hotfix-011-314546.jar

(our CF instances lives on the E: drive)

Attempt to start the service, and it will not start.  No errors in the jetty/logs location.  Examining the jetty/lib directory it is completely blank.

Any Workarounds: Restoring the files from the update 11 backup folder allows the service to start up again.

Dave, Can you share the following details. The update level of your CF server before applying the update. The update install log. hotfix_filelist.log Are you OK with a screen sharing session where we can walk through the update process to see whats going wrong?

For all 8 servers we applied update 11, all of them were on update 10 before we applied update 11. I can attach a copy of the install log and hotfix logs in this thread. Yes, I am ok with screen sharing, but at this time all the servers have been updated and will not reapply the update. We can work on a test server if you want to uninstall the patch and reapply it. I just need to know when to tell the developers the server will be unavailable.
