Problem Description: When using a directory watcher it only triggers for changes to files in the watched folder, it does not trigger for changes to folders

Steps to Reproduce: setup a directory watcher and add/change/delete a folder without also affecting a file. For example create a new folder, delete an existing (empty) folder, or rename a folder.

Actual Result: The event is not triggered

Expected Result: The action gets triggered just as it does for files

Any Workarounds: none that I know of

My use case is syncing folders between two servers, since it does not trigger on a change to a folder the remote server becomes out of sync as folders are edited.

Verified in CF12. This is working fine and event is getting triggered for adding/deleting/changing(rename) a folder. Hence, closing this bug. (Comment added from ex-user id:prk)

Hi Adobe, I've verified this is fixed in CF2016 Update 1 (build 2016.0.01.298513). In CF11 Update 7 (build 11.0.07.296330), only files were watched. In CF2016 Update 1, files -and- directories are watched. Thanks!, -Aaron
