Title:

CFOBJECTCACHE Throws a java.util.ConcurrentModificationException

Status/Resolution/Reason: Closed/Withdrawn/CannotReproduce

Reporter/Name(from Bugbase): Eric Johnson / Eric Johnson (Eric Johnson)

Versions: 2016

Locale/System: English / Win 2008 Server R2

Problem Description: We have been seeing this error several times a day since upgrading to CF 2016.

Steps to Reproduce:Simply calling the CFOBJECTCACHE tag with action="CLEAR" will cause the error, though it doesn't occur every time. You have to examine the stack trace to see the actual error, as CF does not have a "canned" error message for this condition and can only return "null null" in the error output. I've attached the stack trace to this message, with our file paths removed for security. Also note that we are using a FuseBox framework with the "techspedition" core - version CF50_v3_00_21. We realize our framework files are dated and will concede to this being part of the problem if no one else can confirm this behavior.

Nimit, I apologize for not seeing your comment from April. To mitigate this issue, we removed the cached queries and cfobjectcache instances that were causing the problem. I would say that if no one else has reported this issue, you can probably close this case. Thanks, Eric
