Problem Description:We are using coldfusion 11. In update 7 the pdfs were generated well. When we install the update 8 all the special chars come from database are showed wrong. 

Steps to Reproduce: Database is in latin-1, print the variable come from database in a file using cfhtmltopdf with all the html codes default and «meta charset='iso-8859-1'

Actual Result:For example the É in pdfs is showing Ã%°, the  is changed by Ã, .

Expected Result:The right character

Hi, Are you specifying any file-encoding in your JVM config? Also, can you please share your test case, and also your JVM-Config file present in "ColdFusion Directory/cfusion/bin" folder.
