I'm betting drive Y is a mapped drive on Adobe's network.

Additionally, regarding the instructions on Adobe's blog "Restart ColdFusion Builder for the fix to be reflected. You should see the ‘Update available’ message at bottom right corner on re-launch." This does not appear, even before going to the menu to check for updates.

@CFJSGeek, I don't believe the instructions said to "replace" the p2 folder. The zip file doesn't contain an entire p2 folder structure, only part of it. So you needed to place the zip file in the main CFBuilder installation folder and unzip it, which would overwrite the appropriate files with the patched versions.

This bug also breaks the "Install New Software" feature saying the program hasn't been setup correctly to do so.

I put my backed-up directory back in place (p2) and the Install new Software works now.

However, now doing that, the "Install" dialog doesn't recognize what plugins are already installed. Looks like I might be facing a new download/install of the entire program.

On the plus side, if you download the updated installer, you can avoid the whole mandatory updater thing!
