We setup a new development server and developers are required to map to their specific folder.  The folders are located on the F drive, but if a user maps to a drive other than F, the security analyzer will fail with an error stating that the file location does not exist.

The only work around is to map your drive using the same letter, which may not be available depending on the system configuration.

Hi Stephen, Correct my understanding if I am wrong somewhere ... You have added remote server( running in remote machine) and scan folder is present in the local machine and remote machine . Did you correctly mapped the local file path and remote file path location ?. I have tried below steps in order to repro the issue : 1. Add the remote server -- Enter required details in Server details page --> Provide correct details of remote server in Remote server settings - -- Mapping : Enter the local path where scan folder is residing ( suppose in C folder location ex : C:\ColdFusion2016GM\cfusion\wwwroot\scanfolder) Enter the remote location path where scan folder is there in coldfusion server webroot path ( suppose in E folder location ex : E:\ColdFusion2016\cfusion\wwwroot\scanfolder) Click on Add Then click on Finish Now try to run Security Analyzer . I am getting the scan result . If steps are different than mine or understanding , please let us know with repro steps . Thanks, Mukesh

Sorry for the delay as I was not notified that you had commented. The issue is that I cannot install a local instance of CF (org policy is no server products on local machines, and nothing to the root) only CF Builder. In the configuration I mentioned (local mapping matches server drive) everything is working. It is a work around that may not be available to all.

Hi Stephen, You mean to say that , if CFServer is remotely located and CF IDE is located in your locally system , then when you try to run Security Analyzer from even done Mapping correctly , then it is throwing File does not exist . Please let me know it is the same you want to convey . Also please make sure mapping is done correctly . Thanks, Mukesh

Hi Stephen , Please reply with detailed repro steps . I didn't able to repo at my end , hence closing this bug as Not reproducible . Also , please make sure the mapping is correct before running security analyzer . -Mukesh
