Problem Description:

If you try to use the Window -> Customize Perspective dialog, no dialog is presented.  The IDE continues to work fine until you restart the IDE, although messages appear in the Error Log.  When restarting the IDE, the program will start for a few seconds and then die unexpectedly.

Steps to Reproduce:

1. Open CFB 2016
2. Click on the Window menu
3. Select "Customize Perspective ..."
4. Observe that the dialog does not appear.
5. Quit CFB.
6. Attempt to restart CFB - it will start briefly (as evidenced in Task Manager), and then will crash.

Actual Result:

1. No Customize Perspective dialog is available.
2. IDE becomes unusable because it cannot be restarted.

Expected Result:

1. Able to customize my perspective! (I want the Editor Presentation Toolbar, specifically).
2. I should be able to start my IDE!

Any Workarounds:

Deleting the "ColdFusion Builder 2016 workspace" folder in the user's home directory will allow CFB to start, however, it also resets all settings.

This is bug with Eclipse Mars (https://bugs.eclipse.org/bugs/show_bug.cgi?id=502513) and they won't be fixing in Mars as mentioned in bug comment. Therefore , it will be fixed as part of eclipse upgrade for ColdFusion Builder in upcoming release.

DO THIS BEFORE YOU DELETE YOUR WORKSPACE AND START OVER: You can get almost everything back (installed plugins, working sets, projects...) by deleting the following file: <workspace_path>/.metadata/.plugins/org.eclipse.e4.workbench/workbench.xmi The only thing you should lose is the way the default perspective (ColdFusion) actually looked when you closed it. This workaround came from https://stackoverflow.com/questions/41983135/eclipse-neon-customize-perspective-provokes-a-stackoverflowerror
