Problem Description:  When I'm editing a cfm file, while editing a function, after I hit comma and space (to enter another parameter) CFBuilder goes unresponsive. My processor hovers at around 30% usage, the memory is slowly filling up, and I need to kill the process.

Steps to Reproduce: I've attached the file I'm working on in CF2016.  To reproduce this error, open this file in CF2016, place your cursor on position 36:37, enter a comma and then a space.  Voila! I can reproduce this every time.

Actual Result: CFBuilder goes unresponsive.

Expected Result:  To be able to edit the function.

A workaround is to temporarily disable code assist by doing the following: Window >Preferences ColdFusion > Profiles > Editor > Code Assist Uncheck "Automatically Display Code Assist When Typing" I'm guessing this means there's a bug in code assist. FYI, this project is using the CF2016 CFML dictionary

Guys, this is still happening and I don't want to turn off code hinting every time just for this one file. Can you please verify this error on your end? I submitted this 10 days ago and there's been no confirmation.

Hi David, I did not encounter the ColdFusion Builder 2016 being crashed when using your file . Did you want to say that Builder 2016 is getting crashed every time when using code assist or it remain unresponsive for sometime and it recover back . Can you please tell us build number ? Thanks, Mukesh

Hey Mukesh, I didn't get any notice that you responded to this ticket. CF hangs and continues to consume memory. It never crashes, but I have 16Gb of memory. My build number is 300344 Be sure that "Automatically Display Code Assist When Typing" is checked in Preferences > ColdFusion > Profiles > Editor > Code Assist. My dictionary version is ColdFusion 2016. I'll upload a screenshot of that preferences screen.
