CFHTTP ENHANCEMENT REQUESTS:
1) Please allow CFHTTP to ignore SSL errors when performing a GET/POST Request...a CFHTTP replacement called CFX_HTTP5 has an option called SSLERRORS which allows me to retrieve files from SSL pages even though the certificates are not signed. (USA gov't sites, go figure). I have tried the instructions for importing the certificates located in the Docs, but have never been successful...I continue to get 'Connection Aborted' errors (or something like that)
2) Another invaluable feature of CFX_HTTP5 is the ability to retain HTTPSESSION info, such as cookies, etc. so that sites that require logins, or multiple pages to be read/retrieved, can be done.
I can provide a copy of the documentation for this tag if desired.
