Even just using the following code will throw the error. function FileDateCreated(path) { var returnValue = ''; var FileSystemObject = CreateObject('COM', 'Scripting.FileSystemObject'); var GetFile = ''; if(FileExists(path)) { GetFile = FileSystemObject.Getfile(path); returnValue = GetFile.DateCreated; } return returnValue; }

Hey this is a big, big, big showstopper. All webservers are going 64-bit, and if CF9 don't fix this CF will go the way of the dodo even faster.

April 27, 2010 OS: Windows 2003 R2 x64 CF: ColdFusion 9 Enterprise x64. We need this to be fixed ASAP. We are attempting to replace a Windows 2003 with CF7 web server and this is a show-stopper. At the least, Adobe needs to provide info about alternative methods or third-party solutions to writing MS Office Word and Excel files from ColdFusion. Adobe needs to give better disclosure of this known issue to prospective customers. Adobe documentation for CF9 did not disclose this. Code Analyzer did not warn of this. I upgraded to this version because Adobe told me it would work with Win 2008 R2... needless to say I have spend countless hours upgrding websites for free to no avail... this one takes the cake and I may need to go back to version 6.1 just so the sites can work properly. Adobe needs to fix this issue right away or I am done with Cold Fusion
