Problem:
When starting CF9.0.1 on Mac OS X Lion (10.7) it gets to the line "Starting document..." and hangs. This does not happen with vanilla CF9.0.If you copy jpedal.jar from a CF9.0 install to your CF9.0.1 install then Coldfusion starts successfully, however the "settings" screen in CF Administrator does not load (there may be other issues, this was the most obvious) See this discussion for more:http://www.trunkful.com/index.cfm/2011/7/20/ColdFusion-9-on-OS-X-Lion
Method:
- Install Coldfusion 9.0 Multiserver- Verify that CF starts with "jrun -start cfusion"- Update to CF9.0.1- Try to start with "jrun -start cfusion" and it hangs on "Starting document"- Copy jpedal.jar from CF9 to CF9.01- Start with "jrun -start cfusion" and verify server starts
Result:
Coldfusion Enterprise won't launch on Mac OS X 10.7 Lion
